Servotest, in conjunction with BBK, has recently completed the installation and commissioning of a new design high-performance tilting Damper Test Machine (DTM) at the Sichuan Ningjiang Shanchuan Machinery Co. Ltd. near Chendgu, Sichuan Province, China.
Sichuan Ningjiang Shanchuan Machinery Co., Ltd. was founded in 2003. The company's line of business includes the manufacturing of motor vehicle parts and accessories.
Ordered in September 2015 this high-performance system will be used for the assessment and testing of a variety of ground vehicle shock-absorber system components.
The system is able to execute tests in either vertical or horizontal orientations, or at angles in between if required. This enables the components to be tested in the same orientation as they would be mounted 'in-vehicle' providing an accurate representation of service conditons.
This system is controlled by the powerful and versatile Pulsar digital servo-control platform which offers both standard and custom facilities for damper characterisation and durability testing.
Hydrauilic power is provided by the latest quiet 'Jing' power-pack which uses immersed motor pump units to minimise the transmission of noise, vibration and heat into the test laboratory, enabling the HPS to be located adjacent to the test rig. This setup helps to reduce both facility costs and the operational losses associated with long runs of hydraulic hard-line.
