SIAT Expo - 2015

We’re looking forward to attending 2015’s Symposium on International Automotive Technology (SIAT) being held in Pune, India from 21^st January.

India’s automotive industry has experienced a boom in recent years and, with the support of the government, has struck up collaborative relationships with globally recognised automotive companies. This has led to an exchange of ideas and methodology that promises breakthrough innovation in areas such as safety, economy and performance.

The SIAT conference is a biennial event that helps facilitate this exchange with a series of events and exhibitions covering the latest international developments. In 2015, experts from commercial and academic backgrounds can meet and discuss the main challenges faced in the current economic and political climate. The 2015 SIAT conference embraces these issues with the theme “Towards a Safer, Cleaner and Quieter World”.

The conference is organised and hosted by the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) which plays a crucial role in the development of cleaner, more-efficient and safer vehicles. With close links to industrial, academic and governmental institutions, ARAI provides an ideal platform for the dissemination of ideas to all sectors. The next symposium will present over 200 papers from experts across the world, in subjects such Advanced Electronics, Safety & Crashworthiness, Simulation modelling & testing and many more.

Servotest will be represented at SIAT by our exclusive agent for the automotive sector ATS (Automotive Testing Systems, India) supported by Servotest UK personnel. ATS will have a substantial presence at the SIAT Expo repesenting key suppliers within the automotive test sector.

Servotest started an active association with ATS at the Automotive Testing Expo, Chennai in March 2014. We were struck by the professional approach demonstrated by ATS and by the enthusiasm shown by all present at the exhibition. We were delighted with the feedback from the event.

Our association with ATS continues to grow as we partner up with them again to take a larger role in both the 2015 expo and in India’s ever-advancing automotive industry. We look forward to meeting you in Pune in January.
